Loose Tulips

チューリップをなるべくloose paintingで描こうとした。ファブリアーノ水彩紙のトラディショナルホワイトを初めて使ってみるが、自然な白さの紙で、エキストラホワイト同様に絵の具の発色が美しい。絵の具と水をたっぷり筆に含ませるように意識してみた。使った色はカドミウムレッドオレンジ、キナクリドンレッド、オーレオリン、ローシェンナ、ウルトラマリンブルーライト、キナクリドンゴールド。

First time painting on Fabriano paper "Traditional White."  Just the same as Extra White paper, this paper produces great colors.  Furthermore, I felt brushstrokes on paper was smoother with more pigment and water in my brush. Colors used: Cadmium red orange, Quinacridone red, Aureolin, Raw sienna, Ultramarine blue light and Quinacridone gold.

Previously painted this without background, on Waterford paper. Colors are probably the same as the above.
